This website is owned and operated by The Don Dog Company. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors an opportunity to purchase canine services & accessories. By accessing or using the website, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

In order to use our website and/or receive our services, you must be at least 18 years of age, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website and/or receive services if doing so is prohibited in your country or under any law or regulation applicable to you.

Booking & Payment

Your payment is seen as acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. You are agreeing to adhere to our Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at any time and at which point they will take immediate effect. Therefore, you should review our terms and conditions periodically.

Booking is confirmed at time of full payment and non-refundable outside of the statutory 14 day cancellation period.

Class numbers are limited to ensure we don’t exceed trainer to dog ratio and ensures you receive the best possible training experience. Therefore, all places must be booked prior to attendance.

You agree to provide full and honest information to us about your dog prior to booking your place. This includes any illness, injury or allergies that may impact on their training and any aggressive or reactive behaviour which may negatively impact us, yourselves, other clients or their dogs. This allows us to put any extra precautions in place.

Do not attend if your dog is sick with a potentially contagious illness.

Entire dogs are welcome to group classes, but we may not be able to offer group / class training to bitches in season. You must allow at least two weeks after bleeding has stopped before attending a class. Please contact us prior to arrival should this be the case.

You agree to notify us of any medical issues of your own, we should be aware of.
On arrival
-
You are to leave your dog in your vehicle until a member of staff has advised it is safe to get them out.

Avoid meeting other dogs on lead as this may lead to a reaction. Give other people and their dogs plenty of space.

Do not approach a dog without prior permission from owners.
Welfare & Safety

Please keep within the designated areas within our exercise & training facility

Please close all gates behind you when entering and exiting training fields

Dogs must be kept under control at ALL times and on lead unless specifically told otherwise by your trainer. You are responsible for your dog at ALL times.

We provide a safe and secure environment as is practically possible. We apply best practice to all our sessions, ensuring you receive a safe and professional service.

Vaccine cards must be brought with you to the first class if attending Puppy classes.

We take all reasonable precautions when providing training services. However, dog training is not without risk. Therefore, participation in any The Don Dog Company event, training session, workshop, or course is entirely at the owner’s risk.

All instances of accident or injury must be reported to a member of The Don Dog Company staff at the time they occur.

We reserve the right to move dogs who show any aggressive behaviour to a more suitable service. Please advise us at time of booking if your dog has showed any previous aggressive behaviour or reactivity.

You waive and release The Don Dog Company, its owners, employees, instructors, agents or the venue from any and all liability of any nature for injury, damage or loss to your person, others person with you, property or dog.

At own risk, means insurance lies with participants. Ensure you have correct / sufficient insurance policies in place before participation.

Please pick up your dog’s poo and use the dog bin provided, poo bags are available if you forget your own. Please ask a member of staff.
Data Protection & Privacy

Any information given such as name, phone number and email address are used in accordance with Data Protection Act and GDPR.

Photography & Videography may be used during classes and 1:1 sessions and remains the property of The Don Dog Company. It is not to be shared unless permission has been sought from The Don Dog Company.
Pictures, videos and audio may be used for promotional or social media purposes. You must contact us prior to your first class or 1:1 session if you have any privacy concerns.
Cancellation & Refunds

Bookings are non-transferable.

Bookings are non-refundable outside of the statutory 14 day cancellation period.

If bookings are made within 14 days of start of course, session or event, you agree to waive your right to rely upon the 14 day statutory cooling off and cancellation.

If any discretionary refunds are made due to exceptional circumstances or we are able to fill your place, they will be subject to a 10% administration fee. Any refunds are at our discretion and not guaranteed.

We do not offer partial refunds for missed classes.

We reserve the right to reschedule an event without the need for a refund at anytime i.e adverse weather conditions.
This contract is made subject to the Laws of England & Wales and courts of England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.

Terms & Conditions (Solo/Training Walks/Group walks/Kinver K9s/
Drop-Ins)
1. The client agrees to provide full and honest information to The Don Dog Company about their pets during the booking procedures, including any behaviour which may negatively impact on us (Gareth & Rebecca Don & staff members), our own dogs or those on walks or group sessions. These include but are not limited to excessive barking or anti-social behaviour, aggression towards any humans or animals, straying and phobias.

2. The emergency contact will be asked to take over care for the pet(s) in the event of an emergency, including if your pet displayed behaviour which meant they can no longer be cared for. These behaviours can be, but not limited to aggression or anti-social. Refunds will not be given under these circumstances. Please seek permission for an emergency contact to be nominated. The client agrees that if their pet attacks another animal or person, including any representative of The Don Dog Company and this results in injury to that animal or person, they will be responsible for any expense incurred as a result. This includes payment of veterinary fees incurred as a result of injuries to another animal caused by their dog. The dog will be removed with immediate effect and placed with the emergency contact and no refund will be due.

3. Clients agree to an introductory meeting to allow us (Gareth or Rebecca Don) to meet the pet(s) and discuss aspects of care. This meeting will take place in your home by arrangement and is provided free of charge. In some circumstances, the Meet & Greet may take place at The Don Dog Company Exercise & Training Facility.
4. I agree I will be handing over my pet(s) to The Don Dog Company in good health. Any current illnesses or ailments will be disclosed and any medication for such ailments will be supplied and detailed on the Medication Permission form, overleaf. If a period of more than one month elapses between a booking confirmation and the commencement of service, the client must ensure that The Don Dog Company are informed of any changes made to the pet’s health, routine or care.

5. All meetings and times are looked upon as appointments and must be followed. If you are unavoidably delayed by more than fifteen minutes, you must contact us (Gareth or Rebecca Don) before the arranged time to arrange another suitable time. Please only call or text to arrange, if you use any other form of messaging this may not be received if we are not in a WiFi enabled area.
6. If the service is cancelled less than 24 hours before commencement then full fees are due. The Don Dog Company does not charge an extra administration fee for cancelled bookings. Cancellations must be made via call, text or via our Facebook page.
7. The client agrees that their dog(s) will likely encounter other unknown dogs outside whilst being exercised on walks in public areas (applies to Solo / Training walks & Drop Ins).
8. If a medical emergency arises for your pet(s), The Don Dog Company will make every effort to contact the client and their emergency contact. Where time is of the essence, the client authorises The Don Dog Company to seek medical services at the nearest veterinary practice. The client agrees to reimburse for all services rendered by a veterinarian in accordance with the owners wishes as stated and signed in the veterinary release form.

9. Unless otherwise agreed, your pet(s) will be walked on a harness or flat collar and a soft lead. Please let us know if you usually use any other collar / lead types i.e. Slip lead.

10. Where a client is happy that their dog is allowed to run free off the lead (when in public places- Solo / Training walks / Drop Ins) they must be willing to sign an off-lead disclaimer, under which the client agrees to accept responsibility for accident, injury or loss, caused by or to their dog.

11. Dogs will not be walked in public places during thunderstorms or extreme heat, instead they will have garden access for toileting by means of a drop-in service. Sessions at the field will go ahead in warmer weather if we are happy that we have enough cool areas for the dogs to rest. Weather conditions are out of our hands, but we will do our best to accommodate your dog's needs, maintain their safety and keep you informed with as much notice as possible regarding any changes to services.

12. In the event of serious accident or illness of ourselves (Gareth & Rebecca Don) the client accepts that alternative emergency cover may be arranged for their pet(s). This will be done with the involvement of the client’s emergency contact(s).

13. All pets must be fully up to date with their yearly vaccinations or titre tested with certificate of proof (kennel cough is not compulsory but is advised), they must also be wormed and treated for fleas/ticks on a regular basis. The Don Dog Company reserves the right to decline any animal that appears visibly unwell.

14. Any pet transported in a vehicle will be securely transported in a suitable size pet crate or secured by harness and safety seat belt made for that pet. No animal will be left unattended in a vehicle, unless attending a brief pick up or drop off for other customers and due care will be taken to ensure the pet is safe and comfortable with water if needed.
15. The Don Dog Company will not walk a bitch in season in public places (Solo / Training Walks), this is for the welfare of your dog and all dogs and their owners who we may encounter on a walk. We will resume walks two weeks after the dog has stopped bleeding. During this time, The Don Dog Company are happy to offer a drop-in service for garden play, toilet breaks and some company. It is your responsibility to inform us via text message or phone call that your dog is in season prior to commencement of our next scheduled walk.

16. Please notify us if your bitch is in season before any group sessions at the field so that we can ascertain if we are able to accommodate them. If it is not possible for us to ensure no contact with intact male dogs, we will offer a drop-in service for garden play, toilet breaks and company. It is your responsibility to inform us via text message or phone call that your bitch is in season before any group sessions.

17. All dogs who attend sessions at the field will use the apparatus at their own risk. We will supervise and monitor at all times but cannot be held responsible for accidents.
​
18. Only social dogs are permitted to attend Kinver K9 Club and group walking sessions at the field. If any dog shows signs of aggression towards others, they will be separated from the group for the remainder of the session and we will be happy to discuss alternative arrangements going forward.

19. The Don Dog Company carry out all agreed services in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client waives and relinquishes any and all claims against The Don Dog Company except those arising from gross negligence or misconduct on the part of The Don Dog Company.

20. The client authorises the signed contract to be valid approval for future services, therefore allowing The Don Dog Company to accept future bookings without additional signed contracts or authorisation. By signing below, I am promising to read these terms and conditions in their entirety.

21. All payments for dog walking, Kinver K9 Club and drop-in services are to be made by the end of each week. Invoices are usually sent out on a Friday and we kindly ask that payment is received within three days.
​
22. If you wish to terminate your contract permanently, we kindly ask for two weeks notice.
​
23. We have the right to terminate the contract for any reason and will give you two weeks notice, allowing you to make alternative arrangements, unless the dog or owner has shown aggressive behaviour, in which case we have the right to terminate the contract immediately.
​
I, the undersigned, have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of using the services of The Don Dog Company. I understand that any outstanding fee will be paid to The Don Dog Company. I confirm that I will be responsible for any costs which might be incurred, either veterinary or other, as a result of any sickness, accident or damage caused to or by my pet.

TERMS & CONDITIONS for FIELD HIRE

Your payment is seen as acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. You are agreeing to adhere to our Terms and Conditions; failure to do so will result in no future bookings being permitted.

We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at any time and at which point they will take immediate effect. Therefore, you should review our terms and conditions periodically.

Booking is confirmed at time of full payment. Bookings are non transferable and non-refundable. No refunds will be given for cancellations and times cannot be swapped.

All field hire sessions must be booked prior to attendance.

Please ensure you have received notification of the gate code prior to your arrival.

Do not attend if your dog is sick with a potentially contagious illness. Dogs need to be fully vaccinated or titre tested.

Please close & LOCK all gates behind you before leaving.

On arrival

Do not arrive any earlier than your session start time and leave promptly. Please note your field session time includes the time taken to secure your dog back in the vehicle.

Please park on the carpark.

You are to keep all dogs on lead until safely in the field with the gate closed behind you.
Welfare & Safety

Please keep within the designated areas.

Please close the gates behind you when entering and exiting the field.

Every care is taken to provide a safe and secure environment as is practically possible, however, NO responsibility will be taken for dogs should they jump over or dig under the fence. If you wish to visit the field prior to your visit to see if it is suitable for your dog, please contact us prior to booking.

All equipment is for dog use only. Adults and children are not to use the apparatus.

Please do not allow dogs to chew the equipment / apparatus and please discourage dogs from digging, unless in the sand. This is for the safety of other field users.

Supervise children at all times. There are splash pools for dog use on the field, please be especially careful when children are around the water.

All rubbish is to be taken home with you.

All dog poo must be picked up and disposed of in the poo bin by the gate or taken home with you. You can either use a poo bag or the long handled scoop by the gate to pick up.

We take all reasonable precautions when providing our field hire services. However, you hire the field at your own risk. You waive and release The Don Dog Company, its owners, employees, instructors, agents or the venue from any and all liability of any nature for injury, damage or loss to your person, others person with you, property or dog.

Ownership, copyrights and logos
All logos, text, graphics, images, copyrights, photographs related to The Don Dog Company brand within this website are the exclusive property of The Don Dog Company and you agree that nothing in these terms shall be deemed to create a licence in or under any such property rights and you agree not to sell, licence, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, publicly display, publish, adapt or edit thereof.

You recognize and agree that by uploading any content (including, but not limited to designs, images, animations, videos, illustrations, compositions, artworks and text) through any means to the website, you confirm that you own all the relevant rights or received the appropriate license to upload/transfer/send the content. Right to change and modify terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these pages periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will endeavour to notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.
Preference of Law and dispute resolution
These Terms, the rights and remedies provided hereunder, and any and all claims and disputes related hereto and/or to the services, shall be governed by, construed under and enforced in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the internal substantive laws of UK Law, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all such claims and disputes shall be brought in, and you hereby consent to them being decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Dudley Magistrates Court.
